Diamond
colour
The below graphic demonstrates the scale of grading diamonds by colour; D is the very best you can get and that gradually decreases.
I do not work with diamonds below G colour for my designs as I love to work with the brightest and purest diamonds possible.
clarity
The below graphic demonstrates the scale of grading diamonds by clarity; F (for flawless) is the very best you can get and that gradually decreases.
As clarity is integral to the brilliance of a diamond I do not work with diamonds below VS1 clarity.
sourcing
I source diamonds and gemstones individually for each piece of jewellery designed. Diamonds & gemstones are always sourced from suppliers I know and trust.
The UK is signed up to the multi-national Kimberely Process agreement, and so every diamond legally imported arrives with a promise of conflict-free origin.
I can provide certified diamonds on request.
